Two nice Sundays in a row weather wise. I just can’t believe it. I went back to the west branch of the Perkiomen and started upstream from the bridge on County Line Road. There were some nice looking areas but all I caught was a creek chub. I then drove up to Camp Mensch Mill road and fished just below the dam there. I had a few hits from some small browns but I only landed one. After four heat waves this summer I can’t wait until fall. We’re supposed to get a lot of rain from the remnants of hurricane Debby at the end of the week. Hopefully that will get the creeks back up to a good flow of water.
