As usual I had to go fishing on my birthday. I went over to Swamp Creek behind the Bechtelsville post office first but I didn’t see anything. Then I drove up to Huff’s church and fished from the bridge on the west branch of the Perkiomen. Still nothing. On my way back down I noticed a nice looking section of the stream just below a water fall. I cast upstream towards the falls and finally caught a brown trout. At that point it was time to go home and warm up a bit.
